The relationship.

How did you meet?
We went on a study abroad together in Italy. One of my friends was his roommate and we started hanging out and eventually dating while in Italy. :) 

Did you like each other right away?
Haha yes. i thought he was a hottie ;)

How long was it before you started dating?
five months

What was your first date like?
Our first offical date we went to get dinner in Italy. We tried to sneak out of the villa so nobody would see us and ask us questions but it didn't work! Jear-Bear got us lost wandering all around the city and we couldn't find the place he wanted to go because Italian addresses are....really confusing. There are red numbers that are old addresses and blue numbers that are new ones...but the places go by both or you just have to know which one is which. Eventually we decided to go to another place that Jared knew about and got dinner and dessert. We walked around the city for awhile and then sat down by the Arno river and talked for a long time and people watched. Eventually we made it back to the villa where we were questioned by everyone about our date. 

How long have you been going out?
Two months and a couple weeks. 

Has it been good so far?
It's been difficult because while we are both Christian, I'm LDS which makes for some fun complications :P

yes yes he's my best friend and i care a lot about him.

He did. I tricked him into it ;)

I was excited, but also nervous

oooooh most of them are my favorite! I loved being in Italy with him :)

yes. but, jear-bear didn't get any sleep last night so he is probably asleep.

Froggy's!

Jear-Bear and I went to Froggy's last night. It took awhile to find it, since I'm terrible with directions, even though it's right through the Canyon. It was really fun, especially since it's Fall and because it's in the middle of a canyon. It was kind of spooky, it would have been perfect for Halloween! It used to be an old school house, but it feels kind of like a lodge. There is usually a huge fire going in the fireplace, but not this time. Anyways, it was really fun, especially since Jared's never been there before. He loved it, so it was a good surprise! 

It looks a lot prettier at night. At night all the lights are really low and there are candles all around. You can sit out on the patio, but it was waaaay too cold last night. By cold I mean, probably 50 degrees haha. I've gotten too used to warm California sunshine! It's even freezing today!

I am terrible at updating. Good thing I'm not doing NoJoMo. I'm still stuck back on Halloween! 

As usual, Halloween was not a big deal. While other kids were out in their sluttiest outfits getting drunk.druuunk.drusadklnnnnk. Jared, Mia, Aaron, and I went to dinner at the only place open on Halloween. Luckily, it turned out to be pretty good, although it was a bit more expensive than we anticipated. Thanks Jear-Bear! :) Lacking in Halloween costumes, Mia and I decided to get creative. I dressed up as my little sister and Mia dressed up as me. Aaron and Jear-Bear just went as themselves. We were going to go to a party, but it got broken up around 10:30. And everywhere else was waaay to crowded. Ah well, such is the difficult life in Malibu. 

We did get some really cute pictures out of it though! Awww. What cute couples! :) 

Mia, Aaron, and Jear-Bear are coming to visit over Christmas Break! I'm soo excited to have friends over the break! I'm excited to show them all around town. Jared will be there for New Year's too, so that will be much better than last New Year's. Hooray! 

Can't You See That It's Just Rainin'

I went home for the weekend and Jear-Bear took me to the airport. Imagine my surprise when I pulled out a letter! 

Hey Hunny! 

First of all, I just wanted to say I hope you have/had (depending on when you see this letter) a great and safe flight and have/had (hopefully at this point it's not had) a wonderful time with your family. 

Well, it's 4:54 AM. I'm taking a break from studying and you're lying there looking cute as ever. I wish I could cuddle with you right now, probably 'bout my favorite thing to do these days. Well, I'm bored and tired of stuyding and all I can think of is how happy you make me and how glad I am that you've come into my life (no matter how little sense it makes or frustrated we get at times). 

I truly do love you and it makes me feel better every time I say it. I love all your quirky looks you give (yes, most of them are rather cute) and how much fun you are to have around (which is pretty much all the time). And yes, I know by now you have come to the conclusion that you are dating a 3rd grader by the looks of my handwriting, but I assure you, I am in college. Anyways, got a little side tracked there.....

I feel like it's stupid that I'm probably going to miss you even though it's only three days but I just want you to know that I always am thinking about you and how good it feels to give you a big hug, or stare into your stunning eyes, or give you three (sometimes four) kisses haha. 

I love you baby, and can't wait to pick you up Sunday! Already excited to see you again. Enjoy some Cafe Rio for me since I will "never visit" and have the chance to do so myself.

We (My mom, sisters, brother's gilrfriend, and I) went to Gardner Village today. We go every year and always take a bunch of pictures. That's what the row is of at the top. It was raining so hard! We still had fun though! 

Dinner Party

Jear Bear and I made dinner for six people yesterday. We were only planning on four but then Andrew and Mike decided they wanted to mooch eat with us too. We barely had enough food but here is what we (succesfully) cooked:

One small pot roast (one bottle of Italian dressing, two brown gravy packets, one package of Lipton Onion Soup. Salt and Pepper. Leave in the oven for up to 8 hours at 225. Don't add water, or it won't fall apart!)

Potatoes and carrots (cooked in the same pot as the pot roast....yuuuuuum)

Salad (tossed with carrots, olives, cheese, and crutons. i wanted to put in sunflower seeds, but we never got around to it)

Cresent Rolls (with honey and butter)

Cupcakes (for dessert!)

It turned out really well! It was an expensive meal though, since Jared has absolutley nothing in his apartment, we have to go out and buy everything fresh everytime. It's good practice for a family though I guess! Feeding six people is hard! Next time, someone else can do the cooking!
