Bears

As of today 09/09/09 the Bear and I have been dating for one year. Or, in the words of my mother, "Oh whatever...you two were dating way before that. You were dating in Italy. *I* knew you were dating before you two did." and in the words of Maddie, "Uh. Yeah. Everyone knew. *I* knew before you guys did too. Those two people who bought you dinner in Italy knew too. Gol." Guess everyone knew before we did.

I sent Bear an Italian cookbook before I left for India and he just opened it at midnight yesterday. He was really excited and went to go show his mom. I told him to make sure to keep track of it because he will be needing it in the near future for his birthday on the 20th. He tried to guess what I got him but couldn't. He guessed more cooking lessons. I think we're a little obsessed with food. He said he felt bad he didn't have anything for me...but he was lying! He sent me really pretty flowers!!
